General look

A dog with long and straight fur, that falls from both sides of the back. The fur is divided by the line that follows the body line from head, through the neck, back line to the tail. It is a very complete dog of clear lines. It acts with pride which shows its character. It is of a small stature, but proportional and harmonious physique.

Characteristics

It is a typical terrier that enjoys company, is active and intelligent.

Character

Very vital, full of temperament and always on the go.

Head

Small with expressive stop. Not too long pushed up nose with black top.

Eyes

Middle sized, dark, almond-shaped. Top and bottom eyelid are circled with black margins.

Ears

Small, formed in V- shape. Highly embedded and not too far apart from each other. The are covered with short gold-reddish hair.

Mouth

Denture is complete with scissors-like bite. That means that upper jaw slightly overlies the lower one. They have strong roots so in most cases some of milky-teeth need to be pulled out.

Neck

Middle length, thin, with very-well developed muscles. It is very-well embedded on the shoulders which gives him elegance.

Front leg angles

Front legs are straight in parallel pose. The elbows are well-attached.

The body

Compact and strong physique taking in consideration the size of a dog. Back line is ideally straight, with not too long, elegant neck.

Back leg angles

Back leg hocks are well-angled, with long thighs. Knees are very elastic which is evident in his show pose. While in movement heels are placed paralelly.

Paws

Round with black nails. Hair around paws is close-cropped.

Tail

Has to be placed high and carried under the angle of 75 to 95 degrees, docked in half, covered with long and tufty hair of somewhat darker steely-blond color than the rest of the body.

Walking

Elegant, parallel movement of front and back legs. The back line is still and ideally straight while in movement. While walking its temperament shows.

Fur

Long and straight, high-quality, silky and shiny. On the head and on the paws ardently reddish-gold. On the back the color is dark, steely-blond (can’t be silver). That color starts behind the ears, covers the neck, the whole back and the tail which is a bit darker on its second half.

Weight

Maximum weight is 3,17 kg.

Defects

All the differences form standard are considered to be defects. The stud needs to have both testis lowered down conforming to a standard.
